Learn how to make a ribbed basket with a Honeysuckle natural rim! Willow has decided to make this a "giveaway" of round reed to the members of the guild from her own inventory. She is also providing the honeysuckle rims.
We are asking members to bring 4 - 6 long strands of #2 round reed. If you don't have #2 round reed, Willow will have enough to cover you. There will be no charge for the materials for this basket.
Sign up at the May or June meetings for either a small or medium basket. Willow recommends that Beginners start with a small basket. More experienced weavers can do a medium basket. If you are unable to sign up at the meetings, please use the Contact Us tab to let us know your level of experience.
Log in to the Members Section to watch the videos before the class.
Instructor : Leslie Wagner with Lisa Burleson and Patricia Neubert assisting for the Organizer and Gathering Basket.
August will provide members time to finish the May bread basket and/or their July Berry Rib Basket. Members that are ready for a new project can weave the Organizer/ Gathering basket.
So, bring what you need to finish a basket or start the Organizer/Gathering Basket! Download the Free Pattern for the Organizer at Gina's Baskets.
Leslie has refined the Pattern/Directions for members. You can find her materials list in the Members section. The pattern will be distributed at the meeting.
Instructor : Patricia Neubert
A Nantucket creation! Members can go to the Members Section to download the materials list. Please note that the bases, rims and molds were purchased at the August meeting. We are now out of inventory.
